§ 8-5-1. Automatic food vending machine.

A.

Definition. "Automatic Food Vending Machine" shall mean any mechanical container or device used for the sale of any beverage or article of food, the operation of which is governed or controlled by the deposit of a coin or token.

B.

License Required. No person, firm or corporation wherein a food vending machine is placed shall install, keep, use, maintain or operate such machine without obtaining the proper license for each such food vending machine.

C.

Regulations. The applicant shall comply with all applicable regulations of the Department of Code Enforcement including inspection before issuance of license.
