§ 4-5-6. Eligibility for firefighters.

In order to be eligible to take the written exam as referenced in 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.3, the applicants must provide proof of licensure as a State of Illinois Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P) and proof of passing the physical ability requirement contained in 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.3(f) by presenting evidence of successfully passing CPAT with ladder climbing within the past year.
